Welcome back, students! As a Tempe dispensary, it’s been a quiet summer in this part of town.
And while we’re not complaining about the lack of traffic, it’s safe to say we missed you! But
now that class is back in session, it’s time to start planning out what to do this semester. We’re
not talking about welcome week, Labor day, and Halloween here. We’re talking about cannabis
events that you won’t want to miss. Phoenix is going to be full of great events to choose from
this fall (especially once we cool off!) — keep reading to find out which ones you just have to
attend.

• 9/11 September Women Grow Phoenix Market Signature Networking Event –
MonOrchid 214 E Roosevelt St, Phoenix, AZ 85004

Want a job in the cannabis industry, but not sure how or where to start? On September 11th,
Women Grow will welcome men and women to MonOrchid, the adaptive-reuse building in
downtown Phoenix, to engage in the September installment of their monthly canna-industry
networking event series. Equipped with a speed hiring session to kick off the event, the
networking opportunities for securing a job in the cannabis industry will be plentiful. Prospective
candidates (that’s you!) are required to bring at least 10 hard copies of their resume and must
adhere to a business professional dress code.

• 9/28-9/29 Red Rock Hempfest – The Collective Sedona 7000 AZ-179, Sedona, AZ 86351

Hemp, the strong, practical cousin of marijuana, can be just as useful as, and have potentially
more applications than, medical cannabis. While the two have vastly different purposes, both
are nearly impossible to research in the United States as they are technically illegal. To bring
awareness to this issue and to support hemp and marijuana research, Red Rock Hempfest is
hosting a two-day interactive event with camping, live music, food and of course, cannabis. The
event will feature talks from cannabis industry leaders as well as exhibitors showcasing
industry-related goods and services.

• 10/26-10/28 Errl Stock Medicated Camping Festival – Jackpot Ranch, 2025 W Reservation
Loop Rd, Camp Verde, AZ 86322

This Halloween weekend, trick-or-treat yourself to a great time at Errl Stock in Camp Verde. The
event, hosted by the folks behind Arizona’s Errl Cup, will be a med-friendly camping experience
featuring live music, food, friends and more. There will be free camping for all MMJ cardholders
as well as on-site fishing and canoes on Jackpot Ranch’s privately stocked lake. Word has it
there will also be more shenanigans, such as a treehouse, a kickball field, and animal farms to
explore. This could be the best weekend away from campus there ever was! Our guess is this
will be a popular event this fall and may sell out, so make sure to let your friends know so you
can get tickets before they’re gone.
